Are there any mandatory training requirements to take an exam?

Training is recommended as part of your certification preparation but it is not mandatory.

What are the technology requirements for taking a Webflow Certification exam online?

Certification exams are administered by Certiverse and will be AI proctored. Please find the technology requirements (computer, camera, browser, etc.) and preparation instructions on Certiverse's System Requirements: Live and AI Proctoring page.

What is the exam retake policy?

If you did not pass, you may register for the exam again and retake it 24 hours or more after your first attempt. Your number of attempts is unlimited. However, the full registration fee is required for each exam attempt.

How can I share my earned Webflow Certifications?

How long is my certification valid?

Your certificate will be valid for two years. You will be notified when your certification is near expiration with instructions for how to renew your credential.

What is the difference between a learning badge and certification badge?

A learning badge is earned upon completion of the associated learning activity, e.g., completing a Webflow University course.

A certification badge is earned when you successfully complete a Webflow Certification exam. We provide certification badges via Accredible’s platform to offer flexible options for displaying and verifying your achievement. You can share your badge on social media and embed badges on websites or in email signatures.

What happened to the previous certifications?

The previous Layout Level 1, Layout Level 2, and CMS exams have been replaced by Webflow University’s new certifications, which offer enhanced validity and credibility. Your current certifications remain valid for 12 months after the date they were earned. Stay tuned for additional new certifications coming soon!

Is there an option to test my knowledge at no cost?

Some courses now feature free, quick assessments to help you measure your understanding—try them in these three courses, with more coming soon!

Do Webflow certifications lead to partner status?

Webflow certifications do not automatically lead to becoming a Certified Partner or Premium Partner. Review Webflow Partner requirements to learn more.
